{"id":1448,"date":"2020-01-22T15:29:35","date_gmt":"2020-01-22T14:29:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.coopsole.it\/?p=1448"},"modified":"2020-01-22T15:29:35","modified_gmt":"2020-01-22T14:29:35","slug":"chicken-bites-with-peppers-and-basmati-rice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.coopsole.it\/en\/recipes\/chicken-bites-with-peppers-and-basmati-rice\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken bites with peppers and basmati rice"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n<p>Serves 4 <\/p>\r\n<!--more-->\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t\r\n\t<li>1\/2 kg mini chicken pieces<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>200 g basmati rice, boiled <\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>1 small red pepper<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>1 small yellow pepper <\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>3 cm fresh ginger root <\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>1 tbsp honey <\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>60 ml soy sauce <\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>type \u201c00\u201d white flour <\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>1 clove garlic <\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>fresh thyme <\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>salt and pepper<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h2>Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p>Coat the mini chicken pieces in flour. In a large frying pan, simmer the crushed garlic with the grated ginger and a drizzle of oil to take on the flavour. Add the chicken and brown evenly, turning often. Set aside.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Place the cleaned peppers, chopped into strips, in the same frying pan. Add the soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of water, the honey and thyme. Season with salt and pepper then add the chicken once the peppers are cooked.
