Lettuce and banana green tea smoothie

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 250 g lettuce leaves
  • 1 heart butterhead lettuce
  • 4 bananas
  • 1 cup cold green tea
  • 2 tbsp sliced almonds
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts
  • 1 untreated, unwaxed lemon
  • salt

Preparation

Wash the lettuce and peel the bananas. Place the lettuce leaves, 3 bananas, a few tablespoons of lemon juice and the green tea into the blender cup, then blitz until creamy. Dip the remaining banana in the rest of the lemon juice and slice. Remove the leaves from the lettuce heart.

Divide the lettuce cream between 4 glasses and finish with the sliced banana, the almonds, pine nuts and lettuce heart leaves. Decorate with thin strips of lemon peel.
