Mini mozzarella, tomato and strawberry caprese salad


Serves 4

  • 200 g mini mozzarella balls
  • 150 g strawberries
  • 100 g red cherry tomatoes
  • 100 g yellow plum tomatoes
  • 100 g “Camone” tomatoes (or dark cherry tomatoes)
  • 50 g pistachios, shelled
  • basil
  • marjoram
  • lemon thyme
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper


Place the mini mozzarella balls in a salad bowl with the strawberries chopped into small chunks. Add the tomatoes, each type chopped in a particular way: the tomatoes sliced into segments, the red cherry tomatoes into quarters and the yellow plum ones in half. Add the herbs, chopped, and season with oil, salt and a twist of pepper. Finish with the pistachios, roughly chopped, mix and serve.
